The Basic Problem
Today's digital Economy, with its basic processes facing both the ”customer”
and the ”supplier”, realises that conventional paperbased systems for
managing records are working the longer the less efficiently.
While paper records still will continue to exist for the foreseeable future,
there is growing concern about the ability of the public sector to manage
and preserve effectively electronic records.

- support by electronic means day-to-day activities such as collection, storage, management,
retrieval and distribution of documents
- collect electronically any information regardless to its content, form and function
- ensure user friendly accessibility to and long term preservation of records

The Solution Approach

e-layered architecture is interlinking users, database and application servers into a content- and
process-related document management system. This architecture also provides numerous addons such
as scanning, print output, management and incorporation of already existing data as well
as integration of third-party applications.
